Fences

I am preparing this post in advance before the time with family begins and I won't have much time on the PC, so I am not sure if this will be just a normal post of an Actifit post if I to over 5K steps today which I kind of suspect will not happen today as I suspect it will be an around the house day catching up, but that's fine family time for me is always the most important things, work Steemit, or getting steps in all play second fiddle to time with family especially as we haven't seen them for a couple of months.

Also sorry if I am not commenting as much on post for the next few days the grandkids keep me busy and I only get short bursts when I will be able to jump on my phone or ipad and visit steemit, sop I see and upvote on as many posts as I can so I don't waste unused voting power but have limited time for commenting

The @SteemUSA community has recently started a lightning photo challenge, in which the most recent champion chooses a topic to photograph, and the community has a brief amount of time to find those objects to photograph. The most recent champion was Hive account@carn, and the topic of his choice was fences.
Now strictly speaking this does not count as an entry as I took these photos last weekend before the challenge was put forward, but I wanted to show some support and found some shots I already had and edited them quickly for this post.

These shots are all taken in Downtown Milford CT, by Fowler Field behind the Library, this is a spot over looking a dock on this side of the river a nice spot to sit and relax

And a fence either side of this walkway leading down to this long Dock in the same area

And the Hodgekiss Bridge with fences either side of it, well are they really a fence, Hmm not sure so maybe I am really not following the subject of fences but thats OK because as I said this is just to show support for the lightning photo challenge and not an entry :)
