Do not be so obsessed with the big things that you miss the beauty in the small things all around us

This post was inspired by part of a comment recently by Hive account@dswigle where she said

Don't miss the small things in your life, they usually make no noise but can be indicators of bigger things

and so I looked through my photo archives on lightroom and came across some photos of leaves that I decided to share in todays post.

So often in life we get so drawn in thinking about what is perceived as the bigger things in life, we kind of put blinkers on ourselves and miss enjoying the little things in life that can make us feel so much better.

Whether it is little things like nice light on leaves in a park, a mischievous little smile from our grand daughter when busy doing something else, or any of 100 other things, take the time to stop slow down and enjoy those moments, I truly believe it is important for our mental well being to take the time to enjoy the small things in life the beauty all around us as often as we can

of course you can probably guess these photos are not recent, with the colorful leaves these were taken back in fall/Autumn.
