Venting

I had this post prepared with the photos but hadn't added the text as I wasn't sure what to vent about to go with these shots, well as it happens tonight i have something to Vent or moan about so here goes.

dang it is cold out here,

And yes I was until a couple of minutes ago standing out in the cold for about 35 Minutes or more, today I made it to work, and as I waited for the train and walked to my office building I was kind of cursing those that make the decision for a Snow/Ice day for not calling on today, but then I was in the office and warm all day so I slowly felt Ok maybe it was a good call, Until I walked back to Grand Central to catch the train home, but then I got on the warm train and all was good in the World.

BUT

Then I got off the train, and mind you it had warmed up from this morning it was about 13 F with a real feel of -7F, so I quickly walked ot the car and dang the remote door lock thing didn't work, I used the key and got into the car, and was wondering why the remote starter had not worked as it normally does.

and yes you guessed it the car did not start, so I called Road Side assistance, which apparently so many others were doing, and after a long wait finally got to talk to someone and they booked a person to come and do a jump Start.
I thought OK that's good let's hope they don't take to long to get here, and was thinking thats good

THEN

I got a text confirming the Jump Start person was coming and they would be there within 75 Minutes and to stay near the car, bare in mind I had been waiting and walking to try and stay warm for about 15 to 20 Minutes already by that stage, I was then wishing i had just Called an Uber and left the car to deal with tomorrow.

AND THEN IT GETS....

Thanksfully, better after about 15 Minutes a guy calls to confirm the Address and says he will be there in a little over 5 Minutes.

Which he was, so now I am sitting in a running ar waiting for the heater to kick up to speed, but feeling a little wamer already.

So he said to run the car for half an hour so I added this ordeal and about to share this post, then drive home and run the car for another half hour, and then go inside and wwarm up and hope for the best tomorrow morning, at least I have a garage ot poark the car so it wont be as cold as it was during the day today for the car and hopefully it will behave in the morning

So my Photos for this post o of a common site in the city these Steam vents and pipes which one often can see all around the city, and since I have waffled a lot at the start of the post I won't say much about them.
