Roti Prata, which is a type of south Indian flatbread, origin from Malaysia. It can also be found in Indonesia, Brunei & Singapore. Its crispy on the outside but soft in the inside makes its taste savoury. It is usually served with curry and/or sugar. It’s definitely one of those comfort food that makes you forget about dieting today!
One of my favourite choice of Prata is nothing but known as “Plaster”. It’s an add-on of Sunny Side Up in the mid of the prata, giving its yolky-juicy taste. I remembered when I first ordered Plaster in front of my foreign friends who came over to visit, they burst out laughing. Its exclusive name makes my order alittle contradict but they enjoyed the food as well, labelling it a must-try dish in Singapore.
