I stayed home on New Year's Eve listening to sound of neighborhood kids cheer and laugh each time a bottle rocket screeched through the night sky. Knowing I had an important meeting the following morning, I chose to be still, reflect and celebrate the year's accomplishments internally. The energy at 12 am, of course, was intense as fireworks and hollers filled the air - a vibrant full moon as the backdrop. I felt a burst of joy sensing 2018 was going be the best year ever. I woke early and went to the beach to do my morning meditation and continue to reflect on all I was grateful for. The beach was empty. The sea breeze refreshing. I sat and forgave myself, the past and let go of anything I harbored that no longer served me. I thanked our Earth Mother for the beauty that surrounded me and asked her to guide me so that I can continue to serve her in the best way possible. A New Dawn has come. I'm so proud. I'm so excited. I'm so blessed.
