I discovered something just now completely by accident when I tried to check out the analytics on my last blog post by manually changing the "steemit.com" to "steemd.com". I accidentally changed the tag field instead and noticed this:
You can do this trick with any post and any tag, as long as the tag has no spaces or goofy characters (=, &, etc.). Which, means if someone visited this following link:
It sends you directly to this:
Poking around, you can do this for any post on this site. For instance, try the top trending story right now. A little misleading, no?
Having the ability to share a custom URL for any post on this site with any tag you would like could lead to a little bit of awkwardness and embarrassment if abused by others. Dev/s (@ned,
