During the week charged all the Bikes Batteries ( yes there are more of them)
Friday Afternoon discovered that Both Bikes tyres were a bit flat ( Hibernation) and due to the enormous amount of Power Cuts we have been having, could not use our Compressor!
Anyhow up early Saturday Morning ,Pump the Tyres
got the KTM to Start , but no joy with the Husaberg ,
There is no space to get at anything on these modern bikes?, had to use a Flat Spanner to get the spark Plug out!
Discovered that the Cutout switch is marked wrong , what I assumed was off was on, and vice versa!
The Plug was oiled up , we stay on a downhill so a push down the hill ( for the 3rd time) got it running!
Change into the riding gear, me for the first time, and off we go to Maraisburg Area.
The Places I recall from my youth are no longer accessible, we turn into an industrial area, but see no paths, I hear someone whistle at us .
Want to see me get annoyed?, try whistling at me!
Anyhow head back to the Whistler, an Indian Gentlemen, says" You Guys are obviously lost, go up the road past 2 traffic lights you will see an Orange Coloured filling station , that's where all the Off road Riders go!"
Thanked him , did what he said, and there were a whole lot of cars parked there with Bike Trailers, Nirvana ! ( not the Band)
Once again a lot of pushing to get the Husaberg running ( probably old fuel).
Rode all over pieces of mine dump and broken down roads , and eventually found ourselves on a hill overlooking a turnoff into Soweto
Neither of us fell ( I was very cautious) and we got a bit lost on the way back, but once on our way back, Wayne bought us Russian and Chips for Lunch.( from our favou
