I hate that I even have to make this post. Seriously I am heartbroken that this is even a fight still and it isn't even a fight over Cannabis CBD it is a fight over HEMP CBD which is Federally legal. Here is a clip of one of the many news stories over this.
Now this is what gets me. The only CBD oil available in this state is HEMP CBD oil and HEMP CBD is not Cannabis CBD and the AG knows this. He is out of line. First there is no way to get high off of HEMP can not happen will not happen. Secondly years ago farmers around the United States sue the government over HEMP and WON.... Hemp is legal is all 50 states as is HEMP CBD oil. The AG can not trump federal law or even state law. And recently Cannabis CBD oil was written into law for those with drug resistance Epilepsy.. How is that gonna work?
Here our governor signed Medical CBD for Epilepsy patient but the AG is calling for the arrest of those using it. I am a criminal today. I don't know if I should pour out my Hemp CBD oil or not. It helps with my inflammation and allows me to function most days without taking the prescription pain medicines that can be highly addictive and deadly. I can't accidentally OD from Hemp CBD or even Cannabis CBD.
I have some really bad back issues. I suffer from pain every day without the CBD oil I would be addicted to opiates and I would not be able to function. I am not throwing out my CBD oil. I will be a criminal because I want to be functional. And if I get arrested I will sue the state for false arrest and fight back all the way to the highest court if I have to. This is not right.
How does an AG think he has this authority? Since when did the AG make laws? I am being sarcastic a little with these questions because they don't have that authority. Our elected legislate officials are the only ones who can introduce and pass new laws. The job of the AG is to enforce the law, not distort it for political gain. And boy did he misread that. I been reading comments all day across multiple news outlets. And the comments are not favorable for the Indiana AG Curtis Hill.
I get a little passionate about this subject. As I know CBD works, I been using it for years. Also the new law that passed for those with Epilepsy touches close to home for me. My mother suffers seizures she has had Epilepsy since she was a little girl. She has tried many things to get rid of them. Even was the first person in the United States to undergo brain surgery to try to cure them. It didn't work, it did reduce them some, but it failed. None of the medications works. And she even had recently a VPS implant installed. It basically a wire wrapped around the nerve connected to a box that is suppose to when she is a having a seizure a magnets can be placed over it and it is suppose to send an electrical impulse to the nerve to interrupt the seizure. That has been a failure too. I also have a nephew who has seizures.
If by chance AG Curtis Hill reads this. Stop this craziness, and listen to the people. Stop spreading the propaganda lies about CBD oils. Be the Hero you should be to Hoosiers. Talk to Hoosiers that use CBD, and contact the United States AG office to be advised on your opinion because your opinion is WRONG. Taking away people's access to CBD oil will make the opiate situation worse in this state not better.
I sent him some tweets today. I just couldn't help it.
