Still on my journey of learning how to paint using acrylic paints, i decided to create this painting of two pears to study shapes, mixing of colours and highlighting. I started off by making a sketch with pencils, then painting a first layer over the sketch. I now use a bit of water with the paint so it doesn't dry up quickly.
I do find acrylic paints interesting to use, but will be exploring oil paints later in-the future. I have also learnt a way of painting my backgrounds by covering the subject with a paper tape. I will be sharing more paintings as I practice. I hope you love it
