Sitting for a long period of time is never good. It gives you back pain and you just feel so uncomfortable... Well, luckily in my case, I can adjust my work schedule, so I take breaks in between to stand up, stretch and walk around before sitting down again to work.
Despite having breaks to stretch, it's still helps to have a comfortable office chair to sit on. I have one... but it's getting old and the cushion both for the seat and back rest have gotten thin.
The chair itself is still in good condition...(except for one wheel and the thin cushion for the backrest and seat) and actually, I can't afford to buy a new one yet. So, what I did was get some good quality cushion to attach on my chair, as well as some spare wheels.
The cushions arrived this afternoon, so let's check them out.
They're a set which I bought for less than $10. :) They're affordable and the quality is quite good.
This one is for the backrest. :)
This one is for the seat. :)
It has an ergonomic design, so it won't only be comfortable, but it would also help me with my posture.
This is my office chair. :) I've been using this one for almost four years. I recently disassembled and reassembled this because the seat kept on turning... it turned out, there were some broken parts, so I just removed them. Now, I can't adjust the height, but it's OK. I usually use the lowest height of the chair anyway. At least, it doesn't suddenly turn anymore. Haha
And this is how it looks like now with the cushion on. I can remove the seat cushion anytime, but it's actually really nice to sit on compared to the state without it. It has been hurting my bum, but now, it's all good.
The backrest cushion is secure with a garter attached to it, so I could just place it over my back rest.
I've been using them since this afternoon and so far, it feels much better sitting now with them attached to my chair.
Of course, I still hope to get a new one, but it could wait much longer now that this chair's lifespan has increased. haha
Thanks for reading and see you around! I still have a couple classes left... and I got another full day tomorrow despite it being a Saturday. Oh well! <3
PS: I tried using a regular pillow in the past, but they're too uncomfortable that my backpain got worse. In addition, regular pillows are too hot to use as a seat and backrest. xD
