How are you, Dear friend, I wish everyone a good afternoon. Yesterday was the day when everyone in the family was at home, so I thought that I should prepare a snack that everyone in the family can eat. So I made vegetable patties.Really tasty, very tasty. Everyone in the house, big and small, enjoyed it in the same way and everyone liked it. So I thought I should share with you how I make that dish.
Ingredients;
- Two cups of wheat flour
- One and half tablespoons of margarine
- 90ml of water
- A teaspoon of salt
- Boiled and mashed three medium sized
potatoes - A medium sized grated carrot
- Chopped big onions
- A handful of chopped curry leaves
- Chopped leeks
- Four green chilli pods chopped
- Three garlic cloves chopped
- One and half tablespoons of chilli
pieces - Half teaspoon of turmeric powder
- A teaspoon of mustard seeds
- A teaspoon of cumin seeds
- A teaspoon of salt powder
- A teaspoon of chilli powder
- A teaspoon of curry powder
- 250ml of oil
The method of making;
Put the flour in a bowl, add salt and margarine to it and stir.
Add water little by little and make a regular thick dough.Cover the flour mill with a clean piece of cloth and keep it for about ten minutes.
After about ten minutes, thin the flour ball in a tray.Then take a round cup and make circles with it. I took normal tea cup for it.
Now put a pan on the stove and add 3 and a half tablespoons of oil and add.Then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Add chopped curry leaves, onion, carrots, leeks and green chillies when the garlic is sauteed in medium quantity.
After stirring everything well, add turmeric powder, curry powder, chili powder and salt powder and stir.
Now add the chilli pieces. At the end, add the boiled and mashed potatoes, stir well again and remove from the stove.
Now, place one and a half teaspoons of this prepared vegetable mixture on the previously prepared circular dough.Then fold one side of the semi-circular piece to the other as shown in the figure.
Now take forks and shape this folded part with the help of fork.
Now fry both sides well for about three minutes in deep oil on normal flame.
These vegetable patties can be tasted even hot. Especially good for vegetarians. But everyone, big and small, eats it with great pleasure. This vegetable patty is really delicious.Even a snack for the tea time can be made to taste. And you can make breakfast to taste. You can make these vegetable patties to entertain at any party.
