I am now in La Serena in north of Chile. The weather is not great, cloudy and quite chill outside. I stopped here because I did not want to take another 24 hour bus.
Is a big city by the sea, pretty sad and not so pretty. As in life I really appreciate days and places like this. Reminds me that joy of living is inside and gloomy days are perfect if you feel good about life.
I even decided to stay one more day and not run away more up north to the desert. I had a long chat with my girls on whatsapp about the upcoming wedding, boys and astrology. I felt blessed to be in that funny energy of gossip and friendship. Felt home from faraway.
This is a graffiti about the right of women to be educated. Chile is a country of amazing contrasts and I am glad that they are taking the steps to a better. Now, no one says that Europe is perfect, but so far after many years of seeing different places, cultures, I am so glad I can call it home.
The last picture is from my hostel. Is colored and bike friendly and no one snored last night in my room. So a good night sleep makes the cloudiest day to be a good start for the rest of the life.
