Right now I'm sitting on a bench in the center of Murcia, Spain just outside the archaeology museum.
My wife isn't feeling well so she is taking a rest beside me so I'm a little bored just sitting and watching people go by.
How have I gotten my steps? Walking to the center of town. The hotel is a fairly long way away and my wife insisted on leaving the hotel even though she felt crappy.
We stopped first at a "Zig Zag" which I think is a central performing area with a bunch of restaurants around it.
I just thought this guy looked kind of cool so I took a picture with him.
Then we kept walking. We found a nice little park to walk around.
And we found a pawn shop where I saw electric guitars and thought of my son
Mostly though it was really hot. Honest. 33C so we kept looking for shade while walking.
Then when I found the museum I thought. Aha! A washroom and air-conditioning... Plus learn something also
Like how an old time house would look like
Really old coins
And even the ancient equivalent of an LED flashlight.
But there is still a lot off exploring to do. I'm just waiting for my wife to revive because in general no husband in his right mind leaves his wife alone in a foreign country when she isn't feeling well.
So
Even I'm bored right now duty calls :)
And honestly it isn't so bad people watching here. Unlike Canada and the USA where way fewer people walk... Here the roads are made for people and walking is a joy instead of a PITA.
Sure it takes a while to get places but I'm ok with that. Plus it makes posting to Actifit way way easier.
So while it may not be a whole day report it is enough to get my 5000 steps and some pictures to talk about.
Until tomorrow. Thanks for dropping by
