🇪🇸 ~ ¡Feliz Caturday para todos amigos! 🌸 Hoy esta de cumple años mi mamá así que la actualización de hoy será un poco breve, afortunadamente, esta es una feliz actualización del estado de los gatitos en casa, especialmente de Kamui, que siempre ha sido difícil de fotografiar 🖤

🇺🇸 ~ Happy Caturday to all my friends! 🌸 It’s my mom’s birthday today, so today’s update will be a bit short. Fortunately, this is a happy update on how the kittens are doing at home, especially Kamui, who’s always been hard to photograph 🖤

Una curiosidad reciente respecto a Kamui es que por su edad pensé que su personalidad ya estaba totalmente desarrollada, pero desde hace algunas semanas nos ha sorprendido.

Cuando antes le gustaba estar en algún lugar alto de la casa observando todo lo que pasaba, ahora me persigue por toda la casa y esta especialmente conversador; es ahora el doble de adorable y aunque no le gusta que lo carguen me cuesta mucho trabajo resistirme a abrazarlo (el realmente parece estar hecho de terciopelo).

Something interesting I've noticed about Kamui lately is that, given his age, I thought his personality was already fully developed, but over the past few weeks he's really surprised us.

Whereas before he liked to perch somewhere high up in the house watching everything go on, now he follows me all over the house and is especially chatty; he’s twice as adorable now, and even though he doesn’t like being picked up, I find it really hard to resist hugging him (he really does seem to be made of velvet).

Aunque sigue siendo complicado poder tomarle buenas fotos, Kamui es un modelo nato, es muy elegante cuando se sienta o cuando se sube a los muebles, aunque a la hora de la siesta es algo completamente distinto:

Although it’s still hard to get good photos of him, Kamui is a natural model—he looks very elegant when he sits down or climbs onto furniture, though when it’s time for a nap, it’s a whole different story:

Esta semana he comenzado un nuevo proceso de limpieza, descarte y organización de mis materiales de costura porque los michis han hecho de las suyas, algunas cosas no pueden salvarse y por eso Kamui ha estado bastante entretenido, el piso a estado lleno de una fiesta de cajas y el es quien mas las disfruta.

Y en efecto, aquí adjunto pruebas de lo cansado (feliz) que esta después de acompañarme un día de limpieza. No se si esto es común en los gatos, pueden ser la criatura mas sobria del planeta o la mas graciosa, toda la vida en familia tuvimos perros, los gatos siguen siendo un misterio que me sorprende todos los días.

This week I started a new process of cleaning out, discarding, and organizing my sewing supplies because the kitties have been up to their old tricks—some things are beyond saving. That’s why Kamui has been pretty busy; the floor has been covered in a pile of boxes, and he’s the one enjoying them the most.

And indeed, here’s proof of how tired (and happy) he is after spending a day cleaning with me. I don’t know if this is common among cats—they might be the most serious creatures on the planet or the funniest. We’ve always had dogs in our family, so cats remain a mystery that surprises me every day.
