Where does this path lead? Another hiking trail leads down into a creek area and then up a steep hill. Did I reach the top? Yes, but only with a shortcut. There were some trees. And the closest one held a squirrel. The reward, then, was not a view this time but a cute little rodent with a brushy tail.
