One of beautiful things about the cherry blosom is that even when the flowers fall off, they create a beautiful carpet around the tree.
No grass cutting today, instead im sowing some seeds; courgette and peas. For the peas, I’m trying something new: a ‘seed snail’
This is where you lay out a piece of plastic (or bubblewrap in this case) and put a layer of potting compost on it. Then you plant your seeds and roll it up & secure. This allows you to get many more seeds started in a small space, without the need for loads of pots.
Afterwards, a walk out the canal,, then a couple of laps around the wetlands.
