Tough one for sure, as I'm sure many other #featheredfriends had the same dilemma, which pictures do I choose for my BEST BIRD PHOTOS?
The Cormorant has been a bird that I love to see. The first time I came upon this bird was several years ago while in Florida.
This year I've spotted the Cormorant several times and I was able to get the following pictures of this supreme fisherman.
After this bird spent a good amount of time diving for his prey, he flew to a nearby tree and stayed put for almost an hour.
The Cormorants will usually find a place in the sun and stay there for a spell as the sun's rays dry them.
These birds are great swimmers. Taking a look at their feet, it is no surprise as they look like they are wearing a pair of flippers.
When they are in the water their body disappears below the surface and from a distance you would swear that you're looking at a snake.
This fellow struck this pose and held it for more than a half-hour in an attempt to dry off.
A big thanks to those that put in so much time and effort so that us bird lovers can share our passion with our flying friends. Thanks ,
