I've Taught My Cat How to Climb Down Trees

by building a fake one in my living room! :) Cats, especially bengals, love to sit in the highest spot in the room. Having shelves up above the floor keeps the cat food away from the dogs. The 'tree' I built gives the cat access to the lower shelf.

Not only can he climb up and down 'trees,' the carpeted surface gives him a great scratching post to use. :) Anytime he scratches the furniture he's picked up and put about half-way up the tree. :) Already scratching on the furniture a whole lot less. :)
