Hi friends,
I’m coming up on my 730th day on Steemit. That’s right, nearly two fucking years of stacking and macking and jabbering and slabbering! I would estimate well over 90% of my efforts here have been in supporting what I consider my home group: my posse, my mofoz (and mofetz) my peeps! Now i’m not sure if i’ve Spearheaded any initiative, or how much use to any of the guys running this damn thing i’ve been. However, I do feel like I have been a sounding board and a fairly impartial voice of reason for when we are all planning shit and trying to improve our tag.

I would argue that the above mofoz have really stepped up and helped to build a community that many people enjoy. Hear hear for their selflessness in these pursuits. They (we) have helped to grow this tag into a rock n roll nexus for all things cool, and precious, and shiny and valuable. But mostly it has been the community writ large — it’s ALL of us!
I will digress here to note that ssg silver has been sent to every continent on the planet — except for perhaps Antarctica — and has probably landed in close to about 50 of the 195 countries currently observed on planet Earth. Can I get a Hell Yeah!!! We are awesome friends! There has been zero suspicion of mail-fraud, and everyone seems to get along pretty well... so what am I getting at?
Well, and this is touchy, but the scourge of our contemporary culture seeks to undermine our asskickery and our badassery, and yep, you guessed it: it’s fucking politics.
Most of you will be unaware of specifically what i’m talking about, and that’s fine, but i’d like to share a tip with y’all — this isn’t Facebook! SSG is NOT the place to talk about: trannies, illegal immigration (or otherwise), 1st, 2nd, 4th, 10th amendments to the American constitution, partisan opinions about Brexit, Sharia law, Justin Trudeau — that absolute assmonkey! — or any other Godamned political thing you think you know about... This is simply not the place for it.
We, here in ssg, are awesome not only because we stack real money and have a more sophisticated understanding of value, but because we don’t engage in the madfuckery that is global politics right now.
How offensive it is to hear someone’s opinion about gun control, abortion, immigration or any other major issue out there unless their opinions gel with our own? Now, for real, these issues need to be hashed out, but for the holy mother of the simple cheeseburger can we all decide to do it somewhere else!!?
Let me say it straight out: SSG is non-political
If you think Trump is a goon, then try and share a cool round with someone who may be a Republican. If you think he is a fine and worthy President, then try showing off some of your finery to a Democrat. If you want brexit to go through or to be struck down, whatevs! If you think India should fuck with Pakistan, just don’t tell my ass about about it — I do not come here for your foreign policy genius, or how you would reorganize my county’s constitution.
Let’s fucking party! We are all here to celebrate the best parts of ourselves — and that’s the metals stacking part, and some other fun shit. All that other stuff is just your own ego fuckin’ with ya’.
Stack hard. Stack fast. Stack high. And otherwise, don’t be a douche!
