Lexington and Corvega be a dangerous spot
Heading into the nearby town of Lexington to brave the dangers that are waiting for him, Arghrash skips Corvega right now to go up a bit of scaffolding and finds some raiders and ghouls.
One raider is in power armour with a fat man to launch mini nukes which could get deadly.. he takes out the ghoul and the other raider, before more ghouls come up for the fight.
It was about four ghouls that had been storming the rooftop after the machinegun turret was taken out and they were luckily easy to get rid of. "Now that they are double dead, time to focus on this tough raider without dying, I think this will end up badly for me" said Arghrash before taking some shots at them and ending up with a mini nuke destroying him.
It was time to attempt clearing Corvega Assembly Plant of all those raiders and considering the size of this place.. it is a good chance there will be multiple deaths especially when not careful with not knowing who will come from where, how many and what they are packing.
First thing was to start clearing some of the raiders up above where he would end up later, so then Arghrash wouldn't be dealing with them up close. A couple of them were killed before setting his sights to the front of the building which had some more, plus a machinegun turret, definitely a heavily guarded place.
"So there are more of you wanting to play is there? Alright then, how about you take these bullets all three of you!" More had rushed to the fight after the ground raiders were killed off, two close in range that got taken out first while they got some good damage off.
Then up by the Corvega sign, there was one more which took some extra shots due to distance but it didn't take too long to clear these few.
"Wow luckily I have made it inside as this place is tough when trying to conserve the better ammo for the tougher enemies" Arghrash thought to himself as he got inside the building, proceeding to look around.
This is where the being cautious and looking at your surroundings mentality wasn't followed, as he activated a tripwire by which time, he barely made it out with his life as the explosion did some serious damage!
Once healed up quite a bit and now more dehydrated from all the stimpaks being used lately while not drinking more water, the fight continued and with the assassins walking cane no doubt.
Arghrash was able to do a lot of damage with this thing and the reason it was being used.. unfortunately he was taking a lot of damage as well which when faced with two raiders at once and not lots of health due to the stimpak working still, well it ended up being his downfall this time around.
This time was different after getting inside and knowing how much more careful he needed to be. He can't afford to keep being reckless or he won't get this place cleared anytime soon!
"So we have this tripwire for the bomb that I hadn't seen, I did rush in though but now I can disarm and ensure I am safe from this."
For the raiders he used a buffout to become strong for the main group in this section along with the trusty old sawn of shotgun while it is closer range.
Clearing out the raiders around here was so much easier and blood was spraying everywhere, Arghrash should have just done this in the first place but he was trying to have fun with the assassins cane for a change.
Further in were even more raiders closeby to one another which the shotgun could make light work of along with cover from the walls. What was a bit harder to shoot and keep cover from was a machinegun turret and the space in which to destroy it. It was still accomplished with some ease but with a bit of hurt and moving left to right while weakening it.
"I can feel it, the outside it calling me again and I think I have almost cleared inside this frustrating place" Arghrash thought to himself as he killed a few more raiders and cleared some looting which got more chems, caps and ammo.
He was foolish and too cocky this time though.. he thought there was only the one raider below but another was doing a lot of damage as well, soon he ended up being taken down in the next area and would need explosives next time plus some solid caution once more.
