The extra help in the party works wonders for beating areas
With the newly added Druid Braminic who can Spiritshift into a bear, the party was going to be a force now, one that was feeling confident to finish off the dreadful Raedric's Hold and McStabby was going to scout ahead using stealth and detect any traps to be disarmed.
A door was unlocked by McStabby picking the lock in scout mode and heading into the next room. This was a good strategy to get advanced warning or what there is, which happened to be a skeleton and revenant.
The fight was underway and the druid was now a bear, up the front and ready to swipe at the enemies with ease. It was already making things a lot easier for Dombara to move to the revenant as the rest quickly killed off the skeleton, before moving on and ending the revenants second life.
"Well hello there Mr trap, you can be disabled... Now let's keep looking around and... Crap I didn't watch where I was going! That was close" McStabby said with a worry about his near knocked down experience from being careless with a trap. If he didn't scout out these traps and trigger one, the whole party could've been severely affected and need a camp rest to heal up.
Just scouted through the next door into a big room were multiple bigger skeletons and a Revenant. It was the usual tactic of getting Braminic into bear form to engage in melee combat along with Thambelar and Dombara, allowing the rest to get damage coming to enemies for a quick fight, which was also due to having the couple of Gul creatures getting hurt before the others could get close enough to do damage to the party.
Osrya the Necromancer was a little further along on the floor level, she was convinced about the party being sent there to check up on her by Lord Raedric and she was fine with it until...
"McStabby, no!" shouted Dombara as he started stealing from the room, causing Osrya to realise it was all a lie.
Focus was set on Osrya to ensure more undead couldn't be summoned in this fight or at all, everything was starting to be cast on her, damage was quick to lower her health a great deal.
McStabby was in a foul mood from being shouted at and stayed off the to side until further into the fight. But he finally came to deal damage to the final undead while the rest kept on finishing up with Osrya and the healing kept them all from being hurt too badly.
After the fight ended, there was a black cat just sitting around before coming up to TheGoliath and rubbing against his leg. He pet the cat which made it happy, allowing him to pick it up and gain a new friend to follow them around on adventures.
Among the loot gained here was Osrya's Grimoire, with some new spells to learn and be equipped to TheGoliath for use from here on out. With this section done with and next floor needing to be cleared before Raedric gets confronted, the party decided to take a moment to collect their thoughts and prepare for the next floor level by waiting for some time and rest.
