Super Eagles striker and Changchun Yatai player Odion Ighalo, because of his outstanding performance has been given the Chinese Super League (CSL) Player of the Month award.
For the previous months Ighalo severally has won big matches for his club.
Ighalo scored seven goals in 10 CSL matches this season.
One of his memorable match this season was against Guizhou Hengfeng as his club beat them 5-2. Out of the 5 goals he scored 4.
The 29-year-old took to his official Instagram account to express his delight on winning the award.
He posted a picture of himself with the award and a message which said, "Player of the month of April."
Ighalo is among the 30-man squad Gernot Rohn listed out for Super Eagles provisional list for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Ighalo will return to action on Saturday May 19th for their next CSL fixture againt Beijing Guoan.
