Every once in awhile I will give you FUN FACTS ABOUT FASCINATING ANIMALS! Today I am going to give you fun facts about the lobster.
Fun Facts:
If a predator is chasing it, it will shoot water forward with its tail so it shoots itself backward.
The lobster has two different kinds of claws. The bigger claw is for crushing things and the smaller one is for ripping things
Lobsters have two stomachs. One is in its head, right behind its eyes. When it is done digesting, it sends the food to the second stomach to finish digesting.
Lobster's blood has no color, but when it is exposed to oxygen its blood turns bluish.
Lobsters grow by shedding their shell. This is called the molting stage. After the molting stage, the lobster's shell will be soft. But after a few days it hardens.
When a lobster loses its arm, it grows back in the molting stage.
