I have to admit it, I am a seminar junkie! I absolutely love to learn, and I find that I like it in short long bursts, like seminars!! I believe that personal growth is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves.
So, yes, I've walked on fire, I've broken boards with my hands, I've eaten fire, and I've even bent a metal rebar with my neck. All in the name of personal growth. What I have said, and still stand by to this day is that the only thing you can expect of people, is that they are trying to get better. We are human, we are going to make mistakes. We are going to have failures. People are going to hurt us. It's okay, as long as they are always striving to be better. And not better than others, just better than they were the day before.
My husband and I live by this principal, and it has definitely served us well!! Also, we are in the seminar business now, so, we like to check out what people are doing and how they are doing it. Plus, it's always so great to go a little deeper. We have the privilege of hanging out with some of the top motivational speakers in the world on a weekly basis and just being around that type of mindset can change everything. Because we don't actually change our mind until it becomes a habit. The best way to make something a habit is by repetition. So, being around those types of minds can really make such a difference in your life.
So, my husband and I are at another seminar this week, and loving what we are learning. Even though we've heard it before, when we start to peel off the layers, we get the opportunity to go even deeper! So, go for it! Go deeper!! That's what we are up to. My best advice to you is to look at the 5 people you spend the most time with. Are they negative? Do they uplift you? Do they support your craziest of ideas? Find uplifting people with amazing mindsets, and do what ever you can to be close to them! It will change your world for the better.
