“Whoever is divorced by love,
spends the rest of life in waiting…”
At first, I thought this was just poetry.
You know, those deep lines people post at 2 AM just to make themselves — and everyone else — emotional. 😅
But one day I realized… no, this is actually a real law written directly on the heart.
When love ends, a person does not just become single… they become slightly crazy too.
There was a time when every phone notification made my heart jump like someone hit a last-ball six in a cricket match.
Now the phone rings, and for one second my heart whispers, “Maybe it’s her…”
Then the next second it turns out to be a random mobile network offer message.
“Congratulations! You got 2GB free internet.”
Brother… we want our love back, not free data. 😂
Love is a strange thing.
It turns people into poets, philosophers, and sometimes even detectives.
A person can study someone’s “last seen” status and create an entire emotional investigation from it.
I once had a friend who acted very strong.
He used to say:
“Bro, I’ve moved on. I don’t care anymore.”
And five minutes later he was zooming into her new profile picture trying to figure out who the guy standing beside her was. 😭
Honestly, the real drama starts after love ends.
Outside, people act cool.
They post stories saying:
“Living my best life ✨”
But inside, at 2 AM, they are reading old chats again, smiling at some messages and silently hurting at others.
Some memories are like WiFi.
You cannot see them, but somehow they stay connected all the time. 😅
And the most dangerous memories are the ones triggered by tiny things.
A certain song.
A tea shop.
The smell of rain.
Or one silly word that only she used to say.
Suddenly, the whole mood changes.
One day I was walking in the market and someone nearby was wearing the exact same perfume she used to wear.
For two seconds, it honestly felt like time had reversed itself.
Then I turned around… and it was an old uncle. 😂
That emotional movie scene instantly became a comedy scene.
But there is one thing I learned…
Not every sadness is bad.
Some people enter our lives just to change us.
Whether they stay or leave, they still teach us something important about ourselves.
Before, I thought love only meant staying together forever.
Now I think sometimes love also means letting go.
And maybe some people are not meant to stay in our lives permanently…
they only come to teach us that even after heartbreak, life still goes on.
Yes… a little awkwardly sometimes. 😅
Now whenever I hear her name somewhere, my heart pauses for one second.
Then I calm myself down and think:
“Relax, brother… she is no longer part of your destiny. She is now part of your sad quotes.” 😂💔
Life is strange.
The people we once thought we could never live without…
eventually become memories we sit with while drinking tea in silence.
Maybe that is maturity.
Or maybe… it is just exhaustion. 🙂
