Fonda Cox is a daring housekeeper from pretty the seaside. She leads a sleepy life. However, all that changes when Fonda books a summer holiday to chilly Moscow.
At first Fonda finds Moscow very dull. Then there's the mysterious, articulate police officer, Harry Reams, who makes her feel hot.
When Harry invites her on a skipping expedition, Fonda begins to realise that Harry is a deeply kind and sweet man.
Fonda knows in her heart that Harry is the man for her. However, to secure her happiness, Fonda must fend off the callous author, Hans Omaicok, who wants to get his claws into Harry.
Using her fake potions and a mutual love of trainspotting, Fonda sets out to snare Harry once and for all. But will the articulate housekeeper return her affections?
