Lettuce has got to be the quickest and fastest vegetable to grow....maybe? It always seems that we just planted them, and boom, bushy they become and ready to harvest 😁
My husband likes making Hungarian style salad with the lettuce we harvested
I prefer to eat it fresh with warm rice, homemade tempeh (fermented soybean cake), and Indonesian traditional chili condiment (sambal ulek). Simple is the best 😁....or laziness I guess 😁
We also like having the lettuce on our tempeh sandwich/burger and taco. Man, we use our lettuce in a lot of our meals 😉
They are delicious, cheaper to grow and less E.coli threat! I cannot wait for next spring to get back to my gardening 😊
