These stone statues are of a knight and his companion. There were supposed to be 2 companions, placed to his right and to his left, but when we went there, there was only one left, in fact, today supposedly there is only the knight statue, guarding this huge pool or man-made lake, no more companion statue(s).
These statues are located at Telaga Ageng, Narmada, Indonesia - a lake in a pretty big water park complex of Narmada, which was built by the royal kingdom in the 1800s.
I have Googled tons of articles and sites, I couldn't find any information if the statues are as old, but at this water park, there are about 3 suuuuuuuper large pools (with sacred water!), a Hindu temple, historical houses/buildings, stone sculptures, and whatnot. The whole royally park took 27 years to complete.
While the knight statue is called as is, the companions are called sangaji, I believe.
Note: we couldn't take better pictures from front side of the statues since the way they are placed made it a bit hard to take pictures from front side 😅 So my face it is 😁
Thanks For Looking!
