This statue was, yes was, located outside DOW Planetarium Montreal. As this planetarium is no longer exist, and sadly left abandoned per Wikipedia, I read this statue is moved to a new location, which is at the new planetarium.
I guess now I have an excuse to visit the new planetarium soon π
But who doesn't know Nicolaus Copernicus, raise your handsββββ
Copernicus was a very important mathematician, astronomer, physician, and economist that he is mentioned (a lot) in many books at school. If you don't recall ever seeing his name printed on any of your books back at school, don't worry, blogging on and investing in Steemit is the hype today anyways π Yep, you guessed right, I wasn't good at all at math nor at economy classes while at school ππππ
Joking a side, the statue above is bronze and was originally displayed for Expo 67 - a World's Fair of international and universal exposition, which was noted as the most successful World's Fair of the 20th century.
Thanks For Looking!
