I have some questions about Steemit. I see a lot of people here with wallets fatter than Amy Schumer that don’t seem to have any content other than tons of resteems. I was under the impression that you don’t get any rewards for resteeming; just the joy of sharing content you think deserves recognition. My brother, , resteemed my wonderfully hilarious (cough, cough, plug) story The Legend of Bubba and Hopper and on my blog page, it said it was worth like 3.50 but on his page, it said it was worth 6.29. It was like that for a few days but it seems to have equaled out now. I’m not sure what was going on there.
Was that just a glitch? Is there anything else about resteeming I should know? My current understanding is…basically nothing. Any other pearls of Steemit wisdom anyone would like to share? I love writing but I’m functionally retarded when it comes to all these apps, extensions, trackers, and general marketing fuckery that are floating around the Steemosphere. I keep hearing about Discordia and I downloaded it but I can’t make heads or tails of how to use the goddamn thing. Also, what's up with all the worthless upvotes from pages with no content? I'm happy for 40 upvotes even if they don't view my page or make me any money. It's got to be good for my reputation score, but what's the point on their end?
Also, talking about sharing content that I think deserves recognition. You all need to go check out americancarnage. He’s comedy satirists whose posts consistently tickle my butthole and make me jealous of his writing voice.
Also, if you like photography I would be eternally grateful if someone could give some encouragement to my mom gingersicocook. She is a collegiate photography professor whose work has been in several galleries. I talked her into making a Steemit account to share her work and network with other artists but she’s on the fence on if Steemit is worth the investment of her time.
Also, super thank you to ,

and all the other good people who have resteemed me.
