I do not think I have ever been so unimpressed with the human race, in fact as DISGUSTED as I currently am with the human race !!!
If there is one word that stops me in my tracks it is that R word ... usually the last resort phrase used when one is on the wrong end of an argument, debate or discussion. It is not defensible.
I am not interested in discussing the merits or demerits of the current civil 'protests' sweeping America and Europe and in part, here in Africa. The basic premise that one can change peoples attitude towards others of different cultural backgrounds and upbringing by debate, violence or legislation is absolute CRAP!!
Do you think this person in the photograph above is a role model for good civilized behaviour? Do you think he will show his children this photograph with pride one day and say 'I was there' with a proud expression on his face?

There are NO pictures in this post. I do not usually get involved in discussions about politics and religion, but the rubbish I read about racism really and truly gets my blood boiling !! People, yes people . . . . . yellow green pink purple black white and every shade in between need to understand something very clearly. You CANNOT legislate against racism. You cannot UNDO a racist attitude...... this is a learnt behavior... This starts in the home ... it is part of family values and is passed on by the behaviour and attitude children see, hear, experience when growing up.
If each and every family kept their house in order, then there would be no racism. Simple as that (yes, I know...not simple but the right way to tackle the problem) .

I have not switched on a news channel in four days now .... I do not wish to have a stroke... I have too much left to explore in this life!!
Stay safe, stay cool, raise your children with good values and most of all stay true to your beliefs.... unless of course you were one of those rampaging through the streets destroying other peoples lives and livelihoods.
