Hi Steemit!

Has another week has passed already? Seems like it was yesterday when I wrote my last Witness Update.

#witness has been very busy this week, lots of new faces showing up. Hive account@timcliff created a new channel #witness-social to keep things more on topic. I continue to be active and helpful in #witness and #witness-blocks helping other new witnesses on a daily basis.

My witness servers have been running well. I haven't had a need to fail-over but the kill-switch is set up for when an issue comes up.

I recently wrote a post on how to Setup a kill-switch for a witness node. Even if you only have a single witness node, setting up a kill-switch is a great idea. Hive account@furion has already done all the hard work for you.

This week I worked with BuildTeam to bring up a new public full node. If you are developing apps for Steemit and need a fast reliable full node or just another fail-over, check it out.
