3 months on Hive | My contibution, community support & opportunities as freelance designer

Today is my day-95 on the hive platform. when I heard about this website and came to know about the developers, my expectation regarding this platform was so high. I could pretty much see the good future ahead. I was on steemit but not active, so I switched to hive with little investment from selling the steem with a hope to get good support which I did not on steemit.

Talking about my journey so far let's start with my purpose of joining the platform and my contribution towards the community

As a freelance graphic designer, I could see lots of possible improvement could be done to the community and to its users. so at a very early stage, I started posting designs that would be helpful. I noticed Hive account@steeemcleaners moved to hive as the name of Hive account@hivewatchers. I have been following them in steemit too. I could see the rush of the developers struggling with the user interface designs and stuff. without wasting much of my time the first-ever project I did was the logo redesign for the hive watchers (without asking them) as a contribution. Then i submitted to Hive account@logic, All thanks to the wonderful person out there who was really supportive and appreciated the logo design for hivewatchers. Also, he rewarded me with some liquid hive. i felt so pumped up and thought i could do more for the community apart from the reward it was the satisfaction of my work and i could see it really helped the hivewatchers team as well.

Then I started doing some wallpapers and animated gifs and made free to use to the community. Those designs could really spice up the blog experience. Many people started using them and I received so much support from the people around. so I kept adding more of the hive assets to my blogs and taking time to make them. it felt so good that people were using it. I could feel i really can contribute much to the users.

Then i got a project - redesigning the website UI for Hive account@curangel. Thank to Hive account@pharesim for the opportunity to use my skills and make the design of the curangel community better.

I kept posting my others design works as well. Then i discovered Hive account@threespeak platform which is very great. I uploaded my few video there about the design basics and some tutorials for the hive blog.

Using the hive platform and allocating time to create posts and help the community was new normal for me during the lockdown period. Those rewards from the posts really helped me a lot financially during my lockdown days when all jobs were shut.

Days passed i was doing my thing posting about designs and stuffs. Then message from very kind person Hive account@roomservice popped up with his interest to work with me on his projects. i did some redesign for the website https://hiveonboard.com/ . Thanks to Hive account@roomservice for trusting my work.

Recently i am collaborating with Hive account@hiveswag created by Hive account@nulledgh0st which is another amazing project and i m happy to be part of it. I have designed few of the hive tees and cups which you can find on https://hiveswag.io/ . Show some love and support to us :)

I was working more on my time for the community and its wonderful people. I never felt that good while working. The support from them as much of an inspiration for me to continue what I was doing. As a freelancer, I got lots of opportunities to work for the wonderful people in the platform. i would like to thank all who were so supportive on my journey and also I believe to get in my upcoming days
