Lately, I've been searching a lot for good sources to learn more about cryptocurreny and everything that goes with it. And while there is a lot out there which is simply just the same and not really useful - I stumbled upon one guy - Jackson Palmer, the founder of Dodgecoin - who has been creating videos now for a few month. These videos are incredible valuable as he explains everything very easy to understand but still on a high technical level.
Jackson also doesn't have a lot of views - and that was one of the reasons for this post. His videos are just too good and informative and my expectations are that many of you haven't seen them yet.
And since we are all here on the blockchain - it is in my opinion crucial to know at least the basics of cryptocurrency. And even if you think you know everything - the fundamental basics are extremely important!
So without further adue - let me share with you the (in my opinion) most important videos (the order is in which way I'd avise to watch the videos.)
What is Cryptocurrency?
Headline explains it all. The most important video.
Proof of Work (PoW) vs Proof of Stake (PoS)?
With everything that is currently going on with Ethereum (the switch from PoW to a hybrid PoS and then Pos) - it is crucial to understand what exactly the difference between POW and POS is. And through this you will get a better understanding of how things are working and esp. in context to Steem and the Witnesses.
What are Smart Contracts?
And to understand why everyone is talking about Smart Contracts - you have to watch this video. dApps with Smart Contracts will be the Internet 2.0.
What are ICOs?
One of the other really important videos. There are currently so many ICOs upcoming and it is extremely important to understand what exactly ICOs are and why we might be in a ICO bubble so you don't lose any money.
What are Decentralised Exchanges?
Recently, china banned all exchanges and this is one of the reasons why it is so important to understand what decentralised exchanges (DEX) are. In addition to that - many of you prob. have heard of whaleshares or beyondbit - those are also only available on bitshares (a DEX) - so this will help you understand it better.
Where to store Cryptocurrency?
And last but not least - an important topic to keep your investments save.
Alright - I hope you learn a lot from those videos and if you like them - leave a like on his videos and/or subscribe!
He also has a few more videos so check out this channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTOzxu_HvuJfZtTJ6AZ7rkA
