Introduction To "The Underrated"

This account was created by Hive account@chloroform as an effort to promote Hive account@steemstem to the rest of the Steemit community who aren't aware of this wonderful project. My alias is Eric, I'm from Malaysia and I have joined this community since February this year. For the past couple of weeks, I have been raking my brain, thinking "how can I contribute to Hive account@steemstem apart from being a mentor". There are a lot of talented authors out there who are yet to discover Hive account@steemstem and like it or not, the only way we can promote Hive account@steemstem effectively is through active recruiting. Well, maybe there are some other ways but you know what, it's 3 am and this is the only idea I can come up with.

SteemSTEM is an initiative which supports original, great quality and plagiarism-free STEM articles by active upvoting and weekly promotion; STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Obviously, there are a few requirements which are needed to be fulfilled to qualify an article for an upvote but that's not the main reason why this initiative was established. The idea is to create a thriving scientific community which focuses on engagement, healthy interaction and knowledge sharing among members to strengthen STEM-related articles in the Steemit community as a whole.

There are a lot of improvements which have been established since the day this initiative was founded but in my opinion, this particular community was still undervalued. This can be due to a few factors, one of which being lack of awareness among the other STEM-related authors. To promote Hive account@steemstem, I will try to find a few top quality article from the other tags (those who didn't use #steemstem as one of their tags) such as #science, #animals, #biology etc which are related to my field, promote their article, give credit to the original author and guide them through the process of being a steemSTEM author.

Since this account is only run by a single individual, the posting frequency might be inconsistent. Well, the main objective of this account is to invite you (STEM authors) into the steemstem community. Your article might not have been listed but you can still produce articles for the steemstem community by using the #steemstem tag (please refrain from using #steemstem tag, if your article's content is not STEM-related). I'm still inexperienced and this account doesn't possess much steem power (SP) to rewards great author but I'm sure, if I'm consistent, this account will grow.

Let's hope I will be consistent. Please note that this account is not in any way related to the Hive account@steemstem account. This account belongs to Hive account@chloroform (the author), as part of my initiative and effort as one of the steemSTEM honour member. I will appreciate the support from you guys and good luck to us.
