My kitty Blu kindly offered himself as a model for my photoshoot today, so he followed me eagerly into the woodland.
There were quite a few lovely scenes that I thought I had captured well, but when I checked them later, they turned out blurry, so I lost those shots. Trying to learn manual with my old Pentax K10D, I followed all the manual instructions, but I suppose experience really is the best teacher. Hopefully, I’ll get it right next time.… Hmm.

The woodland itself is lush again now. It’s amazing how nature moves endlessly through its cycle, tirelessly renewing itself, always resilient, always returning!

Blu with the bluebells.

Always mesmerised by anything that moves, he saw a squirrel in the tree.

He stayed by the stream for a while, observing the water and everything around it.

Then he crossed to the other side of the woods through a small gap (we call it our den). The sun shining on his fur made it look a bit golden, so I was tempted to follow him.

Here's the other side, a little golden from the sunset.

He was a very noisy cat outdoors; he talks a lot outdoors, and his eyes are everywhere.

He rested a little on the log bridge.

After a lot of posing and pottering around, we decided to go home along the wheat field.

Oh yes, he knows the way home!

He kept inspecting the middle of the wheat at times and came back when I told him off.

Getting distracted by a few sounds.

It was a lovely long walk home along the field that we both enjoyed!
And he had a big treat for being a good boy!
Have a lovely day everyone.
