Scrolling through Facebook today, I came across a post that made me wonder a lot about the manner in which people take away someone’s life these days.

The story, which is actually a real-life event, states that a site engineer was killed and buried by his workers at the construction site where they were working.
The killing and burial happened in December last year, 2024, while the truth was unveiled today, leading to the exhumation of the corpse for autopsy.
It is said that the workers saw a huge amount of money in the site engineer’s account while he was making a mobile transfer. The workers at the site conspired, killed him, buried him in a shallow grave at the site, and made away with the Mobile phone to transfer the money out.
The man had been reported missing since December 2024, and while the investigation was ongoing, just as fate would have it, one of the killers attempted to withdraw money from the deceased man's account. The transaction was traced, and that was how two of them were caught, while the others have been on the run.
The whole situation is so unthinkable. The man was killed and buried at someone else’s construction site. Hmmmm! And this happened just because of money!
How do people find it so easy to kill? I think about this a lot. Life no longer mean anything to many people out there. They can take it as though they are slaughtering meat for food.
On another note, the world is becoming more dangerous every day. People can no longer be trusted, especially when money is involved. May God help us all. Amen.
