Savings claim time!
With a total of 5 posts in the past month, I didn't expect my HBD savings to grow much. I ended last month with 212.650 HBD after claiming and with just 5 posts having an average pay out of 10 bucks each, there was little room for growth.
But as we were facing a serious issue where our home was cut off from water due to our landlord apparently not having any contract (read: there was an illegal supply of water for 15 months!), the priority to find another home showed me that I was most likely going to need some more funds to cover for the deposit and other things needed when moving. To unlock a few hundred more HBD, I sold some HE tokens into HBD as an emergency fund.
Determined not to touch it until I really had to, I managed to grow the HBD more than double. Three weeks ago, I was sure I was going to need the funds as soon as a home was found, because most home owners asked for a deposit of one month as well as a few month's of guarantee. Luckily for us, I found a landlord only asking for 1 month deposit so we even unlocked a few bucks to spent on things needed in the home.
Let's get to the numbers.
November Totals
My total HBD savings has only grown over the past month, luckily for me, I didn't have to take out any of the funds because of just one month rent and our old landlord having to pay back our full month of rent and costs. The total before claiming today is: 506.471 HBD.
I have a total of 5.384 HBD to claim this month so that's nice progress!
After claiming, the new total is 511.856 HBD. I'm very happy, as now it's finally starting to look like a little savings fund which can grow slow and steadily. Of course, at some point, I hope to catch one of these pumps where HBD climbs like crazy and be able to sell some for an even bigger return, but even if it's just the interest, I'm very happy with the return.
Too tired for content creation
As I committed myself to these savings reports, to keep track of the status, this is the only reason I'm writing this today. I'm wrecked, exhausted and not even done in this new home because everything is new and I yet have to find a place for most things. Going back and forward from the old home to the new one with a small car was exhausting but we handed over the keys yesterday so at least the old one belongs to the past.
This is the second day in the past week that I had to sleep for hours during the day to be able to continue the rest of the day. I'm drained, really. It also doesn't help that the wind is blowing with 83 km/h currently while living on one of the top floors, lol. It makes me want to dive right back into bed.
My hope to be back posting daily from November 1 didn't work out, and I will probably not show up every day for the next weeks either as I still have loads of things to do and some of them need to be done in person. I'm going to take my time to get it all sorted properly, while enjoying a hot shower when I want, what a joy!
See you soon!
