life on the ocean

There are a lot of things you can control when you are guiding people on the ocean in remote regions on the planet. However, one of these things is the weather - I know right, as crazy as this sounds?! Somedays its as flat as a lake and makes my day at the office quite enjoyable and to be honest a tad boring. Then there are days that she is less than kind and the office becomes quite an adventurous shift that becomes really tiring after a few hours. However, a calm sea doesn't make a skilled sailor, as the well known saying goes.

This is probably by far one of the reasons I love being on the ocean and working in this line of work. No two days are the same at "work" - I tend to always refer to my work like that, as it doesn't really feel like work to me. It is a lifestyle that I love and always look forward to my next day at "work".
