2️⃣ Charitable donations are a regular part of my budget. It's not always about cash donations, but also about other resources, like your time and talent. Tell me what your favorite charity is and what makes it special to you.
The reason is very simple, since last year I am working as a volunteer with a group of visually impaired people. The truth is that I hate that phrase, because truth be told, with the other senses they have, which by the way are very well developed, they are not handicapped at all. I think they see more than us, who can "see".
I want to tell you how I got there. A year ago I worked as a volunteer in a yoga class for visually impaired people. Then, there I met someone who today I consider a good friend. With him I have learned to understand their needs, to respect them as human beings, to admire how brave and determined they are to do the activities in a city that does not think about them at all.
So I said to myself, why not accompany him in recreational activities that he needs so much and so a timid idea was born, at first accompanying my friend to recreational activities, walks to the park, going to concerts, museum visits and today that timid work is materializing in projects that involve more people with visual impairment and companions.
The last meeting we did two weeks ago, we went to the mountain and taking them was an adventure for everyone. Here are some pictures.

Esta semana he decido responder a la pregunta número 2:
2️⃣ Las donaciones benéficas son una parte normal de mi presupuesto. No siempre se trata de donaciones en metálico, sino también de otros recursos, como tu tiempo y tu talento. Dime cuál es tu organización benéfica favorita y qué la hace especial para ti.
La razón es muy sencilla, desde el año pasado estoy trabajando como voluntaria con un grupo de discapacitados visuales. La verdad se me antoja odiosa esa frase, porque la verdad sea dicha, ellos con los otros sentidos que tienen y que por cierto tienen muy bien desarrollados, no tienen nada de discapacitados. Creo que ven mas que nosotros, quienes si podemos "ver".
Quiero contarles como llegué ahí. Hace un año trabajé como voluntaria en una clase de yoga para personas con limitación visual. Entonces, allí conocía a quien hoy en día considero un buen amigo. Con él he aprendido a entender sus necesidades, a respetarlos como seres humanos, a admirar lo valientes y determinados que son al hacer las actividades en una ciudad que no piensa en ellos para nada.
Entonces me dije y por qué no acompañarlo en actividades recreativas que tanta falta le hacen y así nació una timida idea, al principio acompañando a mi amigo a actividades recreativas, paseos al parque, ir a conciertos, paseo a museos y hoy en día ese timido trabajo se está materializando en proyectos que involucran a mas personas con limitación visual y acompañantes.
La ultima reunión la hicimos hace dos semanas, Fuimos a la montaña y llevarlos fue toda una aventura, para todos. Por aquí les dejo algunas fotos.
