Visiting museums has always been a hobby. Finding in each image, painting and sculpture a story, as well as the emotions that moved the artist to make his work and the emotions that emanate from the sculpture itself, have made me, many times, place myself in their shoes and that is where this idea came from.
I am a photographer for pleasure. I see a moment, I capture it and, once in a while I am very lucky, nature gives me the light, the shadow or the perfect images. And then the photos, luckily, are beautiful.
There are people who say that I have an innate instinct to select the frames, the truth is, I don't know. What I do know is that I feel an enormous satisfaction when I capture an image. One day, a friend gave me a book called "The Pleasure of Photographing", and although it is a very old book, it has given me a few ideas about photography and I have learned something about filters.
And since I'm a disaster with photos, some of them end up in the forgotten trash garbage can of my cell phone, and lost forever from my life. So, to make sure I don't lose the ones I like the most, I have an Instagram account Tibaire_Valero, which functions as my personal museum of trials, errors and occurrences.
One day, I asked a friend to take a photo: me posing next to the sculpture, trying to mimic it. I gave her the instructions of what I wanted, I framed the camera and just like that, this idea was born. I've already taken a few pictures and here in this essay I leave you some of them.
All the photos were taken with my Tecno Spark cell phone - I'm in the process of raising the money to buy a professional camera, one of these days I'll buy it.
The photographers were the friend on duty in my adventures, giving him instructions of what I wanted, some came out well, others were a disaster. Hahahaha, that's part of the adventure.
The locations were the National Art Gallery and Los Caobos Park, in Caracas, Venezuela.

Visitar los museos siempre ha sido una afición. Encontrar en cada imagen, pintura y escultura una historia, así como las emociones que movieron al artista para hacer su obra y las emociones que emanan de la escultura en sí misma, me han hecho, muchas veces, colocarme en sus zapatos y de allí partió esta idea.

Un día, una amiga me regaló un libro titulado “El placer de fotografiar”, y aunque es un libro muy viejo me ha dado unas cuantas ideas sobre fotografías y he aprendido algo sobre filtros.
Y como soy un desastre con las fotos, algunas, sin querer terminan en la olvidada papelera de mi celular, y pérdidas para siempre de mi vida. Entonces, y para asegurarme de no perder las que más me gustan, tengo una cuenta de Instagram Tibaire_Valero, que funciona como mi museo personal de ensayos, errores y ocurrencias.
Un día, le pedí a una amiga que tomara una foto: yo posando junto a la escultura, tratando de mimetizarme con ella. Le di las instrucciones de lo que quería, le encuadré la cámara y así, sin más, nació esta idea. Ya llevo unas cuantas fotos y aquí en este ensayo te dejo algunas.
Todas las fotos fueron tomadas con mi celular Tecno Spark – estoy en proceso de reunir el dinero para comprar una cámara profesional, uno de estos días la compro.
Los fotógrafos fueron el amigo de turno en mis aventuras, dándole instrucciones de lo que quería, algunas salieron bien, otras tantas fueron un desastre. Jajajaja, eso es parte de la aventura.
