Recently, South Tangerang has been experiencing heavy rainfall from the afternoon to the evening. By the time I made my appointment to meet Vivie, the rain was already pouring down. And thankfully, the rain finally stopped once I reached our destination. We were originally going to linger in a spacious art gallery, but what can I say, I had to accept that we'd have to relax while the rain poured down.
So, we moved on and looked for a more comfortable place to have coffee. While walking along the street, I came across an area with a cafe. It was a gas station park, and not only did it have a cafe, but it also had a prayer room, restrooms, a shoe laundry area, a beauty bar, and a laundry service.
The cafe here is called NARABE.
NARABE: Coffee and Eatery
I think the cafe's concept is unique, with two floors, with indoor and outdoor areas, as usual. I don't think each section of the space is always spacious, so I think this gives it an intimate feel.
Let's say, in the area near the dining table, there are only about three sets of seating. There's also a very large mirror there, adding to the aesthetic, along with the simple yet comfortable decor.
Up to the second floor, it's the same: there are only about three or four sets of seating: one long wooden table and chairs, two simple chairs with a round table, and another set with a small, comfortable red sofa.
I chose to sit comfortably on the sofa and order my usual iced Americano, while Vivei ordered a latte.
I also took the time to read one of the books available. Coincidentally, it was a poetry book by an author who specializes in philosophy. Despite the rain outside, I enjoyed my cold black coffee and poetry book in the warm room. Occasionally, Vivie and I would also take photos for Instagram. So, we enjoyed the rest of the evening in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Breathtaking greetings from iced Americano lovers. What's your favorite coffee story this week?
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
