You can't tell me that displaying 10 different wallet addresses in every post is better than a banner to an exchange that has been around for some time, can't even say the first looks better.
It's my account and I do what I want with it. If users grow to dislike the banners then they can just flag themselves, we don't need a cleaner team to go after the links we decide to share with people.
If Steemit ever decides to extend the payout period so we can still profit after 7 days then I might consider dropping the banners, but if I don't feel free to create my posts the way I want to then what's stopping me from just opening a wordpress account?
If you don't want ads then don't post ads, let the rest of us do with our accounts as we feel.
Why would a company invest in STEEM if they can't post a few banners in their posts directing people to a place where they can purchase the company's product?
The market will decide about things like banners, if people aren't interested then they simply won't follow, won't vote, we don't need content cops because that's what each of us has Steem Power for.
The cleaners should stick to plagiarism and repeated posts...things that are harder for Steemit users to spot and decide on.
