Los procesos creativos varían mucho estando con personas o estando solo. Cuando trabajas con otros en una banda y se ponen de acuerdo para componer, es donde puede haber verdaderos conflictos debido a los gustos que cada uno tiene y quiere reflejar en su trabajo. Para nosotros, sólo el producto final es lo divertido de hacer una canción en conjunto, ya que nos sentimos muy a gusto con las dos canciones del demo que tienen un grano de arena de todos. Sin embargo, es complejo poder llegar a un acuerdo en el que todos nos sintamos cómodos cuando estamos componiendo, ya que los cinco tenemos gustos musicales diferentes y alejados de lo que a uno le gustaría basarse para crear algo nuevo.
Pero todo tiene lado positivo y negativo. El hecho de tener gustos musicales diferentes nos ayuda en cierta forma para crear música totalmente nueva con la que dentro de los conflictos, tiene nuestra esencia como banda y cuando nos ponemos de acuerdo, realmente tenemos canciones muy interesantes que tienen mucha variedad dentro de sí mismas. Aunque también hay canciones que hemos compuesto los miembros por individual, lo cual es un formato un tanto más plano sobre un mismo género, pero que también tiene buena intención para que todos nos la pasemos bien o la esencia para mostrar un mensaje, que es también otra de las intenciones que tiene la música para todos nosotros.

Creative process
The creative processes vary greatly being with people or being alone. When you work with others in a band and they agree to compose, it is where there can be real conflicts due to the tastes that each one has and wants to reflect in their work. For us, only the final product is the fun of making a song together, since we feel very comfortable with the two songs from the demo that have a grain of sand from everyone. However, it is complex to be able to reach an agreement in which we all feel comfortable when we are composing, since the five of us have different musical tastes and far from what one would like to be based on to create something new.
But everything has a positive and negative side. The fact of having different musical tastes helps us in a certain way to create totally new music with which, within conflicts, our essence as a band and when we agree, we really have very interesting songs that have a lot of variety within themselves. . Although there are also songs that we have composed the members individually, which is a somewhat flatter format about the same genre, but which also has a good intention so that we all have a good time or the essence to show a message, which is also another of the intentions that music has for all of us.
Proceso de producción
Verán, para nuestra experiencia en particular con Alt 441 y debido a la clara situación que atraviesa Venezuela, es claro que cinco amigos con un sueño no es suficiente. Hace falta pensar las cosas de manera fría y calculadora; tener un plan, ver opciones, ver tus recursos o qué puedes hacer para conseguirlos. Debes detenerte a pensar más de dos veces las cosas y decidir cómo vas a ejecutarlas, al igual que con todo. Para salir adelante y poder mostrar tu trabajo en internet necesitas herramientas que te ayuden a lograr mostrarte, y a su vez, que te vean a ti.
Cuando estuvimos en proceso de composición para las canciones estuvimos pensando, ¿Cómo podríamos grabar los temas si no tenemos dinero para pagar para ir a un estudio?; Y allí fue donde pensamos en los recursos que teníamos para grabar. Y todo se resumió a una computadora, un micrófono, y unos cuantos programas que debíamos descargar. Fue ahí donde al terminar nuestras canciones dijimos “Vamos a hacerlo”. Entonces convertimos mi casa durante dos o tres meses aproximados en un estudio de grabación súper simple y deprimente, pero eso no nos detuvo para darnos a conocer en las plataformas.
Durante los meses de Julio, Agosto y Septiembre estuvimos los muchachos y yo experimentando y aprendiendo a utilizar los programas de grabación y trabajando en nuestras canciones. Desde probar grabando los instrumentos mediante los amplificadores hasta grabar todo por línea, fueron tres meses de aprendizaje para nosotros sobre cómo es realmente el mundo de la música detrás de lo que escuchamos todos. Grabar nuestras voces, ecualizarlas, producir la batería desde un programa y hacerla parecer a lo que tocamos realmente, todo fue un proceso muy gratificante y gracias a la constancia pudimos sacar nuestro demo en Septiembre de 2019.

Production process
You see, for our particular experience with Alt 441 and due to the clear situation that Venezuela is going through, it is clear that five friends with a dream is not enough. It is necessary to think things in a cold and calculating way; have a plan, see options, see your resources or what you can do to get them. You must stop to think more than twice about things and decide how you are going to execute them, just like everything else. To get ahead and be able to show your work on the internet you need tools that help you to show yourself, and in turn, to see you.
When we were in the songwriting process we were thinking, How could we record the songs if we don't have money to pay to go to a studio ?; And that's where we thought about the resources we had to record. And it all came down to a computer, a microphone, and a few programs that we had to download. It was there that when we finished our songs we said "Let's do it". So we converted my house for two or three approximate months into a super simple and depressing recording studio, but that did not stop us from making ourselves known on platforms.
During the months of July, August and September the boys and I were experimenting and learning to use the recording programs and working on our songs. From testing recording instruments through amplifiers to recording everything online, it was three months of learning for us about what the world of music really is behind what we all listen to. Recording our voices, equalizing them, producing the drums from a program and making it sound like what we really play, it was all a very rewarding process and thanks to the perseverance we were able to release our demo in September 2019.
Trabajar de manera independiente es difícil al principio, pero cuando logras realizar tus proyectos y tienes presente que fue gracias a tu propio esfuerzo, junto con tus amigos y compañeros de trabajo, es algo indescriptible. Sentir que los cimientos de tu trabajo los haces tú mismo buscando lo mejor de las maneras correctas; y que le guste a las personas allegadas a ti, es completamente sensacional. Mis amigos de Alt 441 son personas grandiosas con las que me siento excelente de trabajar, son excelentes músicos y grandes personas, por ello queremos escribir nuestro relato en el mundo, ¿Y qué mejor manera de empezar que con nuestra propia sangre, sudor y lágrimas? Estos dos años que tenemos no son nada más que el inicio para nosotros, y haremos lo imposible por realizar lo que deseamos, porque nada nos detendrá aunque digan que sí.

Working independently is difficult at first, but when you manage to carry out your projects and keep in mind that it was thanks to your own effort, together with your friends and coworkers, it is indescribable. Feel that the foundations of your work are done by yourself, seeking the best in the right ways; and that people close to you like it, it is completely sensational. My friends at Alt 441 are great people I feel great to work with, they are great musicians and great people, that's why we want to write our story in the world, and what better way to start than with our own blood, sweat and tears ? These two years that we have are nothing more than the beginning for us, and we will do the impossible to do what we want, because nothing will stop us even if they say yes.
