Everything ready for the race tomorrow.
Hopefully the rain that is expected for Sunday will respect the start of the competition, at least we enjoy of a perfect temperature which is an advantage.
The circuit is not super fast, it has a lot of curves and changes of direction but at least is flat, almost...
Today the running target was the "activation" for the race. If you have followed me during this week you would realized that my running workouts have decreased in both, volume ((kms) and intensity. This is the best way to get a good performance on a race, the week of the race you have to keep your energy without losing so much your fit level which not always works as you expect but, let's say that all the cards are on the table and we are ready to play!
The "Activation" run this time consisted on doing a 20 minutes warming-up run, followed but some mobility exercises , skippings and 5 progressive sprints of 100m, starting softly ending fast... That's why you can see those spikes in the charts below... then, some soft stretching and that's all...
well, and a good meal with full of carbohydrates and some proteins and zero fats!!!
