He waited for so long. He wondered if he was missing out somewhere else.
"She just doesn't do anything!", he yelled. For weeks at a time he watched her intently.
He began to lust other women. The ones making progress, the ones not looking back.
And one day he left.
Free of his burden, she shot toward the stars, pulling in new subjects all the while.
And that day he hurt.
The new ones pushed through the pain, they rallied and kept out the rain.
The new ones latched on her from the clouds, but, they made it to the moon.
