Quiet, but yet moving a mile a minute internally
I am sure at least a couple of you have noticed that I have been a little quieter on comments and in discord chats as of recently. Of course, I adore all of you, but sometimes I end up getting caught up in a lot of stuff (not to mention my family often keeps me busy), but I thought Hey, why not share some of what I am up to. So, here it goes...
Now a Youtube live show Producer & Video Editor
1. Designing, Setting up, testing, troubleshooting, and monitoring a Youtube live Vodcast
I recently got on board to help with a Live Youtube Vodcast. Since I have experience in using OBS, Video Editing (and have helped in the past with videos and continue to), and can use photoshop I was onboard to help a new project.
I fit all the pieces of this broadcast together. I created, imported, tested, and troubleshot the images, the live chat, the video cams being pulled in, as well as everything to do with the stream.
2. Turned a video file into an audio-only file, added narration, and a background song, and rendered it into an MP3 (as well as an image to go along with it) so it can also be consumed as a podcast
3. Requested someone to cut the video for me so I could focus on other stuff, and when raw cuts were returned I edited them and included any necessary intros, outros, created jpegs, and such. Rendered all videos. There were multiple so it took time for each of course
4. Added in a high-quality version of an interview that I had edited just days before and imported it to the existing project. Here is a screenshot of how that individual interview (Part 1) looked in my Final Cut Pro X timeline as well:
Preparations and After stuff for my live radio show
If you have been in attendance I am sure you see and hear the work I put into this little venture of mine, but it is still fun to share. If you haven't, you should, it is a fun interactive time. Here are just a few of the things I work on to make that happen.
1. Set up the new images, songs, scenes, and more in my OBS
2. Go live during my time slot and engage with my audience on camera
3. Cut up any segments I want to separate in Final Cut Pro X
4. Render the necessary videos up to Youtube with a custom thumbnail
5. Make a full post with custom bordered images and proper links for Musicians
Extra Add-On for fun! I just whipped up this video because my kiddo thought this was funny the other day, so I added in some music and here we go. Enjoy 2 minutes of Hamsters.
Hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into what I am up to
As Always, Stay Awesome my fellow Steemians!
