I love the May flowering of trees so much. Unfortunately, this is a very short period. Like a ghostly haze, snow-white flowers cover everything around, but one morning I wake up and see that the snow-white cloud is no longer so snow-white. A yellowish tint appears on the edge of the leaves and now my whole yard and garden are covered with fallen petals. This is a bit of a sad sight, although I understand that the next stage will begin now: the trees will be covered with green foliage and the formation of fruits will begin.
Judging by the abundant flowering this year, I can hope for a good harvest. But this will become a reality only if there are no more frosts. Unfortunately, we have already seen this last year, when the late frost simply killed the harvest.
This is probably the paradox of global warming. If the food problem is burning the planet, it is because of these late spring frosts.
