Hi, my dear friends!
This week was quite busy. In addition to work, I continue to take care of the garden and the house. But the most important task was the veterinary examination of all my dogs. I started with the oldest of them and, unfortunately, everyone had problems. Nevertheless, a consistent and methodical approach to solving them allowed me to organize everything so that our little mastery did not collapse under the burden of problems.
The first was Mouse that has kidney problems. I ordered special therapeutic food and pills prescribed by a veterinarian. Given that Mouse hates pills, and I don't have so much time and energy to run after it twice a day, trying to push the pill into her mouth, I ordered part of the food in the form of pate. Now I just grind the pill, mix it with the pate and it eats everything with pleasure.
Tsilya has good tests, but she still has a problem with her paws. Maybe it's arthritis. We didn't do an X-ray right away because we decided that she twisted her paw because of a broken step on the porch. Vet prescribed anti-inflammatory and analgesic injections. Everything went well at first. But now that the injection course has been completed, she's having trouble walking again. I'll take her to the clinic again on Tuesday.
The veterinarian also visited Happiness. The tests showed a small problem with the liver, so special food and medicine were also ordered for her. I chose the same method as for Mouse.
So, next week will also be full of vet problems. I'll take Tsilya for an X-ray, also one of the remaining old dogs: Stepan, Joy or Umka will have to pass the tests.
