I have been following crypto for about 5 years now. I enjoy watching it move up and down. But here is a question -I see and hear people talking about buying food , clothing or airline tickets with bitcoins. But why, If we think its going to "go to the moon" then why are people spending it? Wouldnt they want to hold and watch it increase in value? why not just use cash for that? You dont see people spending gold to buy a burger or plane tickets.
But then again if nobody is spending and just holding , would bitcoin go up in value?
I am curious to hear peoples thoughts on this
